What builds good relationships? First and foremost a consistent message, personalized to your patients. Frequent communication delivered in different mediums. And absolutely, hands down, a strong brand.
Think about the relationship with your patients like a storyline. You have an awesome opportunity to be a part of their story and their history for years to come.
But it's hard to compete with all the other 'noise' that factors into our lives. How can you be relevant and memorable in today's 24/7 communication world? Did you know research shows that the average person processes 5,000 messages a day. Think about it. All of the various conversations you have in a day. The emails you read. The texts. The phone calls. The mail you open. And on and on.
And then consider the research also shows that a person needs to see or hear a message at least four times before they will recall or take the desired action.
This is why it is so important to communicate in the patients' preferred method of communication. Do you ask how they prefer to receive their communication? Email? Phone? Text? Mail? Face-to-Face?
Join us for a special webinar "Good Relationships are Built on Good Communication," Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m. CST to learn how to communicate in all Five Phases of Patient Communication.
