Digital Printing Operator

We have an immediate opening for a Digital Printing Operator located at our production facility in Layton, UT. A digital print press operator uses Digital Printing Presses and related software programs to effectively create materials per client request. In fulfilling these requests, operators may change many variables in the printing press set-up, such as dimension, color or contrast. Often, successful digital print operators have numerous printing projects going at the same time and create schedules to reflect these various deadlines.

This position will be involved in a variety of job duties and will perform tasks in multiple production operations. Duties include:

Creating and producing specified print material
Coordinating workflow with Department/Facility and Supervisors
Maintaining the print equipment and keep inventory stocked

Requirements:

Experience with Digital Printing Presses and Copiers (Konica Minolta experience a plus)
Experience with Fiery Command Workstation Software (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)
Associated Degree or higher in Graphic Arts (or related major) preferred.

Qualified candidates should have the following:

Attention to detail.
Basic Knowledge of Paper Stocks
Basic Knowledge of Digital Printing.
Basic computer knowledge.
Experience working in a print production facility or shop.
Quality conscious with good organizational skills.
Productivity skills a must.
Excellent attendance.
Lifting requirements: up to 50 lbs.
Pass a background check and drug screen.

Position normal hours will be: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Starting hourly base pay: $13.50 to $16.50 per hour commensurate with experience.
Position is located at our production facility in Layton, Utah.
